Kourosh Sedghi-Sigarchi

Kourosh Sedghi-sigarchi is a Professor at California State University, Northridge since August 2012, where notable roles include founding the IEEE San Fernando Valley IAS Chapter and serving as Chief Advisor for Tau Beta Pi CA K Chapter. Additionally, Kourosh holds the position of SME (Senior Matter Expert) in Power System Design at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. Kourosh previously served as an Associate Professor at West Virginia University Institute of Technology and as a Research Assistant Professor at the Advanced Power Electricity Research Center, contributing to advancements in power system controllers and designs. A PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems was obtained from West Virginia University, following an M.Sc. and B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology in Electrical Engineering. Kourosh is also an IEEE Senior Member and a board member of the Beyond Vision Music Foundation.
