Tim Tiemann

Tim Tiemann holds extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, currently serving as a federal advisory committee member for invention innovation and entrepreneurship at the U.S. Small Business Administration. As the Managing Director of the Innovation Incubator at California State University, Northridge since July 2017, Tiemann fosters entrepreneurial growth. Previous roles include Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Assistant Director of Technology Advancement and Licensing at the University of Southern California. Tiemann has led marketing and sales efforts at Clinical Micro Sensors and Bayer, and held senior positions in investment banking and consulting focused on life sciences. Tiemann obtained an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Rochester and holds advanced degrees in Microbiology, Immunology, and Chemistry.
