Wendy Shattuck

Wendy Shattuck serves as the Interim Associate Vice President for Strategic Communications and Brand Management at California State University, Northridge, starting in January 2025. With extensive experience in higher education communications, Wendy has previously held roles such as Assistant Vice President for College Communications at Pitzer College, and Executive Director of Communications at the University of Southern California, where strategic communication initiatives were emphasized. Wendy also served as Chief Communications Officer at the University of Redlands, reporting directly to the president and leading efforts to enhance institutional visibility. Earlier experience includes the role of Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Art Center College of Design, where Wendy was instrumental in rebuilding the marketing organization. Wendy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts and Dramatic Literature from Brown University and a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts from Stanford University.
