Mark Clark serves as the President of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East and the Association for the Study of the Middle East and Africa (ASMEA). Since September 2006, Mark has directed the California State University Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence, facilitating grants from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Defense Intelligence Agency, while also developing a consortium of Southern California State Universities. In addition, Mark has led the National Security Studies program at California State University, San Bernardino, as Director since 1990 and has held a professorship in Political Science since 1989. Mark contributed to NATO as a member of the Academic Advisory Board from 2013 to 2015, advising on the curriculum related to the NATO Regional Cooperation Course. Mark earned a Ph.D. in Strategic Studies from the University of Southern California between 1984 and 1989.
