Chris Jaffe

Chris Jaffe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience design and product innovation within leading technology companies. Currently serving as a Board Member for California Trout since February 2023, Chris has held significant roles such as Chief Design Officer and Vice President of Product at YouTube from March 2019 to March 2024, and Vice President of Product Innovation at Netflix from October 2010 to January 2019, where efforts included enhancing the global member experience across various devices. Prior roles include Senior Director of User Experience Design at Yahoo, Director of User Experience Practice at BSP Consulting, and Web User Experience Consulting Practice Director at Eliassen, among others. Chris also founded and led Chris Jaffe Photography, conducting photography expeditions globally and working with notable editorial and corporate clients. Academic credentials include an MS in Communication from Cornell University and a BA in Biology from the University of Arizona.
