Shannon Gemmell

Shannon Gemmell is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Lead Onboarding Specialist at California Virtual Academies since September 2017, where responsibilities include providing training and support for new students and families, as well as assisting struggling students in navigating online platforms. Prior experience includes roles as a Family Academic Support Liaison, Assistant Manager at San Diego Spine & Rehab’s daycare, and Conversion Specialist at Back Office Support Services. Gemmell also worked at Pacific Marine Credit Union as a Facilities Assistant, served as an Administrative Assistant at Homeland Solutions, interned with the Health and Human Services Agency, and tutored undergraduate students at BYU-Idaho. Gemmell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
