Javad Shiva

Javad Shiva, Ph.D., P.E., currently serves as the Capital Planning Manager at California Water Service since June 2021, having progressed through various engineering roles within the Capital Planning and Asset Management department. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Environmental Data Scientist at Mott MacDonald and as a Senior Research Fellow at Syracuse University, where Javad also completed a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences. Additional experience encompasses climate data research at CUAHSI and project management roles in consulting companies, with educational credentials including a Master's degree in Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
