Sam Waran.

Sam Waran is an American CPA with British CMA and an MBA in finance with certifications in information governance, security and risk. Sam has 25 years of IT experience and 15 years of finance experience in various industries and states in the US and countries in Asia. From 1988 to 1992, they held various accounting and marketing positions at The Customer Company. From 1995 to 1997, they were the CFO at Singam Construction. From 1997 to 1998, they were the CFO at Goodwill Industries International. From 1998 to 2001, they were the Regional Director of Information Technology at Blood Centers of the Pacific, where they managed the DBA, Software Development, Network Operations, LAN/WAN over MPLS, and Data Center. From 2001 to 2015, they were an IT Consultant at Avigen, where they analysed the current financial software for replacement, installed, configured, and trained Avigen staff in Oracle Financials, and maintained the system. From 2015 to 2019, they were the IT Business Consultant at BioBridge Global, Qualtex, South Texas Blood & Tissue, where they lead the IT department and successfully implemented Acquire 3 Customer Portal for QualTex Laboratories. From 2015 to present, they are a consultant at Blood Bank of Hawaii, where they lead the IT department for all day-to-day technical functions. From 2019 to present, they are a Senior Consultant at GCAM, Inc., where they have implemented and supported Master Control Initiatives and provided ongoing IT Support Services. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Senior Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Vitalant.

Sam Waran began their educational journey in 1964, attending La Salle, Brickfields & Saint Johns Institution. Sam then attended La Salle, Klang from 1967 to 1968, where they completed their high school education. In 1986, Sam Waran earned their MBA in Finance from California State University - East Bay.
