Kimberly Slaven

Kimberly Slaven is a seasoned freelance sportswriter with extensive experience in a large media market, currently working at Calkins Media Inc. since May 2013. Kimberly has covered a diverse array of sporting events, consistently meeting tight deadlines while enhancing writing, reporting, and journalism skills. Additionally, Kimberly has developed strong interview abilities and has participated in radio talk shows discussing various topics. Prior to this role, Kimberly served as a sports intern at the Philadelphia Daily News from January to May 2013, where responsibilities included covering high-profile sports teams and events, as well as writing game and feature stories for high school, college, and professional sports. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Temple University in 2013.
