Jamila Augustin

Jamila Augustin has a long and varied work experience. In 1998, they started as a Bank Teller at Scotiabank. In 2001, they became a Transfer Credit Evaluator - Student Aide at Baruch College. In 2002, they were a Structured Finance Intern at Moody's Investors Service. From 2003 to 2017, they worked at Goldman Sachs in various roles, including Vice President/Derivatives Regulatory Operations, Vice President/Commodities Operations Regulatory, Vice President/Commodities Operations Structured Settlements, Associate/Commodities Operations Structured Settlements, Associate/Commodities Operations Contract Management, Associate/Commodities Operations Middle Office, and Analyst/Commodities Operations Middle Office. In 2017, they co-founded Callaloo Box. Most recently in 2022, they co-founded Gayap Consulting, a micro business consulting agency.

Jamila Augustin attended St. Joseph's Convent Port of Spain from 1991 to 1998, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Jamila then attended Baruch College from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a BBA, summa cum laude in Finance.
