About the Role
We are looking for an experienced In-Service Support Specialist to join our expanding Service Support team.
The role of In-Service Support Specialist will act as the primary interface point between the Customer and the Company for In-Service operational and support matters. The role requires a strong Customer focus and awareness of needs. The primary responsibilities of the In-service Support Manager will be implementation and delivery of Entry into Service and Sustainment Technical and Material Support Services. The role will require developing and maintaining good Customer and End User relationships.
Responsibilities
Implementation and delivery of materiel and services in accordance with the contract baselines, company commitments and business directives
Monitor In Service / End User operations and gain actionable insight of Customer intentions wherever possible
Manage operational data acquisition and analysis using industry standard tools and techniques and in order to influence product and support roadmaps
Engage with the business / supply chain functions to ensure procured products and services meet required levels of performance in terms of cost, quality and schedule
Responsible for managing the budgets allocated to the support contracts and task flowdown - reporting to the PMO as required and in accordance with the Company standards
Identifying and managing risks and opportunities that could impact on the ability to discharge the support services as contracted
Be vigilant to safety and/or airworthiness issues raised through In-Service Support activities and work within Callen-Lenz to ensure that these are resolved

About You
Qualifications
Technical related qualifications HND/HNC or Degree level, and/or equivalent experience in the defence aerospace sector.
Skills and competencies
Strong technical background and understanding
Proven experience in development and delivery of the full range of Support Solutions within an Aerospace and Defence setting
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills at all levels (verbal and written)
Proven ability to build and maintain appropriate rapport and relationships with Customers and End Users
Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support principles
Experience within aerospace, defence or safety critical systems and exposure to civil and defence contracts
Working within a cross-functional matrix organisation to solve problems and communicate solutions to both internal and external stakeholders, working in accordance with established procedures
Proven delivery focus, with track record of delivering work packages to schedule and within budget
Evidence of active contribution to business process development
Strong IT skills
Personal Attributes
Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK
Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK
Excellent communicator
Excellent problem solving ability
Ability to work well in a team
