Location: Chilmark, Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK

Salary Range: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on relevant experience

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Learning and Development (L&D) Partner to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage innovative learning programs to enhance employee skills, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs, create impactful training solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Program Development

  • Partner with business leaders to identify and analyse learning and development needs.

  • Design and deliver tailored L&D strategies that align with organisational goals and values.

  • Develop scalable programs focusing on skills enhancement, leadership development, and employee engagement.

  • Monitor industry trends to ensure L&D initiatives remain innovative and relevant.

  • Design and manage comprehensive apprenticeship programs ensuring they provide meaningful learning experiences and attract diverse talent. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, structured training pathways that equip apprentices with the skills needed for long-term success.

Program Execution and Facilitation

  • Develop engaging training content using a variety of methods (e.g., e-learning, workshops, blended learning, coaching).

  • Facilitate training sessions for diverse audiences, including managers, teams, and executives.

  • Oversee the deployment of digital learning tools and platforms to enhance accessibility and user experience.

  • Revamp and expand the organisations year-in-industry and graduate programs to ensure they offer impactful, hands-on experiences and clear development pathways. Work with key stakeholders to identify key skills and create tailored rotations, mentorship opportunities, and training modules that foster future talent pipelines and support early-career professionals in achieving their potential.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams, providing expert guidance on professional development opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party training providers.

  • Gather feedback to continuously improve learning programs and address evolving needs.

Measurement and Reporting

  • Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of L&D initiatives.

  • Analyse data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Report on program impact and progress to key stakeholders and leadership.

  • Perform other related duties as required

About You

Qualifications

CIPD level 5 or above is desirable but not essential

Skills and competencies

Essential

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful L&D initiatives

  • Proven track record in developing apprenticeship and early-career development programs, including planning, execution, and evaluation.

  • Demonstrated success in reinvigorating or scaling graduate and intern programs to enhance talent pipelines.

  • Background in creating tailored programs to meet the specific needs of high-potential talent or underrepresented groups.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong time management and prioritisation skills.

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience with learning technology implementation, such as integrating new LMS platforms or rolling out innovative digital learning tools.
  • Experience in budget management for L&D initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Experience in partnering with academic institutions or external training providers to create and deliver learning opportunities.
