Thomas Philip

Thomas Philip has extensive experience in information technology roles. Thomas currently serves as the Director of IT at Calliditas Therapeutics, where they oversee technology services and manages critical applications. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director of Information Technology at SCYNEXIS, Inc., where they played a key role in formulating and executing the company's IT strategy. Thomas also achieved cost savings through effective negotiations and selection of office productivity suites. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Director of Information Technology at Avet Pharmaceuticals, where they partnered with business leaders to align IT strategy with global and local business strategies. Thomas has also held positions at AMRI and LTI, where they managed data management, BI, and analytics, as well as IT delivery. Thomas received recognition for their outstanding service in an Oracle implementation project and successfully eliminated expenses. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at AMRI and as a Consultant at LTI, where they implemented reporting platforms and designed process improvements. Thomas began their career as an intern/consultant at Kelly Services.

Thomas Philip earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Bridgeport, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University from 1995 to 1999. In terms of additional certifications, they became a Certified ScrumMaster® through the Scrum Alliance in October 2014, and obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2011.
