Eva Filmström

Director Project And Alliance Management at Calliditas Therapeutics

Eva Filmström has a diverse work experience spanning over decades. Eva started their career as a Laboratory Engineer in molecular biology at Pharmacia Biotech in 1993. Eva then took on roles as a Product Specialist and Scientist in the same field.

In 1997, Eva joined Pharmacia as a Clinical Trial Leader and Clinical Research Associate. Eva worked there until the year 2000 when they became a Study Leader at AstraZeneca R&D, where they stayed for two years.

From 2002 to 2014, Eva worked at TFS - Clinical Contract Research Organization in various leadership positions. Eva served as the Director of Global Project Delivery, Director of Academic Alliances, Director of Early Clinical Development, Director of Clinical Operations UK, and Clinical Operations Manager. During their time at TFS, Eva was responsible for conducting European clinical trials and overseeing project delivery management.

In 2014, Eva joined Pharmalink AB as a Clinical Operations Manager Consultant for a year. Following that, they worked at Larix as the Country Manager for Sweden. Eva'sresponsibilities included managing staff, projects, quality, finance, and strategy.

Eva then moved on to Cadila Pharmaceuticals Sweden AB in 2016, where they initially served as a Senior Project Director. In this role, they directed R&D partnership projects, evaluated new development opportunities, and served as an alliance manager between Nordic partner companies and Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd's project teams in India. From 2018 to 2019, Eva held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Sweden AB.

Currently, Eva is working at Calliditas Therapeutics AB as the Director of Project Management, a role they assumed in April 2020. Eva previously served as the Clinical Project Director at the company from 2019 to 2020.

Throughout their career, Eva has gained extensive experience in project management, clinical operations, and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Eva Filmström obtained their Master's degree in Medical Science from Uppsala University between 1987 and 1993. Following this, they pursued further education at Karolinska Institutet from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Licentiate degree in the Faculty of Medicine with a specialization in Pharmacogenetics.
