Christopher Beard

Christopher Beard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christopher is currently employed as a DevOps Engineer at Calligo since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CSI Ltd (A CSI Group Company) from March 2018 to June 2022 as an Automation Team Software Developer, where they were responsible for automating internal business processes and adopting Chef as a desired state configuration tool. Christopher also supported legacy MVC .NET applications and developed API integrations for various management systems.

Before joining CSI Ltd, Christopher worked at Niu Solutions as a Software Developer from January 2014 to March 2018. During this role, they gained experience in full stack .NET MVC 4.5 web development. Prior to Niu Solutions, they worked at Cognisec Limited from August 2013 to January 2014 as a Software Developer, where they focused on web development for a large .NET MVC 4.5 application enabling single sign-on access to multiple business applications.

Christopher's early career involved a role as a Technical Support Engineer at Niu Solutions from October 2010 to August 2013, where they provided first and second-line technical support in a managed services environment, particularly in the finance and retail sectors. Christopher also worked as a Customer Service Assistant at Sainsbury's Plc from September 2001 to April 2007.

Christopher Beard attended Tomlinscote from 1999 to 2006, where they obtained their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Christopher then pursued a Bsc in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Birmingham from 2006 to 2009, earning a 2,2 degree. In addition to their formal education, Christopher also obtained certification in Basic Chef Fluency from the Chef Software institution in August 2019.
