Marion MacLaine

Marion Maclaine (née Poerio) has extensive experience in editorial management and creative direction, currently serving as Head of Editorial and Sleep Story Writer at Calm since November 2017. Previously, Marion held various roles at Untravelled Paths Ltd from 2012 to 2017, including Creative Director, where responsibilities encompassed research, product development, and marketing. Marion also contributed as a Tourism Project Consultant for the Joint Technical Secretariat of the "South East Europe" Transnational Cooperation Programme in 2014. Other notable positions include founding the blog Rust and Gold Dust, serving as a lifestyle writer for The Upcoming, and coordinating MFL programs at Teach First. Marion holds a BA in French and Hispanic Studies from the University of Nottingham and a PGCE from Canterbury Christ Church University, along with participation in Erasmus exchange programs at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the University of Pau and Adour Countries.
