Ben Warner

Ben Warner has a long and varied career in media and business development. Ben began their career in 1991 as VP, Group Publisher at TEN: The Enthusiast Network. In 2003, they moved to BowTie Inc. as Associate Publisher, taking on responsibility for sales and marketing. In 2006, they joined SKI Press as Vice President, Group Publisher, leading the US launch of the international consumer and trade publications and website. In 2007, they cofounded Firebrand Media LLC, launching multiple community media brands, and served as Cofounder, Partner & Group Publisher. From 2012-2017, they were a Business Development & Brand Strategy Consultant at BRAMPLIFY, working with software companies, non-profits and brands. In 2017, they founded New Brand Strategies, LLC, helping organizations create and manage transformational growth. In 2018, they cofounded the Coast Film Festival and served as Cofounder and CEO, managing all aspects of the organization. In 2022, they joined CalMatters as Director of Sponsorships, helping build the award-winning non-profit, non-partisan digital news organization.

Ben Warner received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) from St. Lawrence University and attended Westminster School.
