Ziba Mehra

Ziba Mehra holds an MBA and several certifications, including CPSM, CPSD, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Contracts & Supplier Diversity at Calpine since April 2011, Ziba oversees a purchasing department that ensures compliance and selects qualified suppliers for nationwide operations, while managing the Contingent Workforce through an MSP/VMS program. Previous roles include Director at Large for ISM - Houston and Programs Chair for the Institute for Supply Management, where Ziba coordinated chapter meetings and agendas. As AVP of Operations/Director of Procurement at Houston Baptist University, Ziba developed supply chain strategies and vendor qualification processes. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Houston Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Purchasing and Material Management from the University of Houston-Downtown.
