Liuhang Zhang has worked in various roles since 2007. Liuhang began as a Teaching Staff and Graduate Teaching Assistant for the National University of Singapore, where they taught Fluid Mechanics to 400 undergraduate students every semester, demonstrated and supervised experiments of undergraduate mechanical engineering labs, and was promoted by exception to full-time teaching staff based on excellent teaching record. In 2014, Liuhang began working for REC as a Senior New Product Development Engineer (Technology), Senior Product and Process Development Engineer, and Senior New Product Development Engineer. In 2017, they took a position at ams AG as Program Director, Program Manager, and Engineering Project Manager. In 2021, Liuhang became a Mechanical Engineer at Baraja. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Head Of Product Development at Calumino.

Liuhang Zhang's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering (Fluid Mechanics) from the National University of Singapore, which they completed between 2007 and 2013. Liuhang also earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore between 2003 and 2007.
