Senior Process Engineer at Calumino

Marianne Sharp has a long history of work experience in various engineering roles. Marianne began their career in 1995 as a Scientist at De La Rue Holographics, where they developed new products and improved existing holographic products. Marianne was named inventor on a patent which was granted. In 1999, they took on the role of Coatings Technologist at Cooper Standard, where they worked on water based coating formulation and testing for car door seals. In 2000, they joined Bookham Technology as a Development Engineer, where they designed and developed Optical components and led a team developing the package design and processes for an Optical Spectrum Analyser Module. Two patents were granted during this time. In 2004, they became a Process Engineer at Decoma Sybex Banbury (now Magna Exteriors), where they were responsible for FMEA document and used statistical software and six sigma methodology to examine where the robot spray equipment was not coating the bumpers adequately. In 2005, they joined Silverbrook Research as a Senior Reliability Engineer and Process Engineer, where they developed the processes and sourced the materials to make printheads and performed ink stability testing of printheads. In 2012, they moved to Memjet Technology as a Senior Reliability Engineer, where they developed a fast inkjet printer, conducted real time life testing and accelerated life testing, tested the printhead and demonstrated a real time installed lifetime of 2 years, and developed reliability test methods for installed life and storage life for production testing. In 2021, they began working at Calumino as a Senior Process Engineer.

Marianne Sharp has a background in Materials Engineering, having obtained a Bachelor's degree from Swansea University between 1991 and 1994, and a Master's degree from the University of Surrey between 1996 and 1998. In 2015, they also obtained a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping from TAFE NSW.
