Jade Huang

Jade Huang has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jade is currently working as the VP, ESG Portfolio Manager at Calvert Research and Management since 2017, where they co-manage over $1.5B in equity assets across various equity strategies. Prior to this role, they served as a Portfolio Manager at the same company, where they managed several funds and launched the Calvert Global Water Research Index and Calvert Global Water Fund.

Before joining Calvert Research and Management, Jade worked as a Senior Equity Analyst at the company from 2006 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing international equity and global sector asset classes, working closely with fund managers and assessing the impact of sustainability criteria on investment performance. Additionally, they led fundamental equity research on consumer sectors, specifically focusing on the impact of sustainability issues on a company's long-term value.

Prior to their time at Calvert, Jade worked as an Investment Analyst at MicroVest Capital Management, LLC in 2005 and as a Certification Manager at TransFair USA from 2001 to 2003. In these roles, they gained experience in analyzing investments and designing certification frameworks for fair trade products.

Jade's early career included roles as a Financial & Market Analyst at Netcentives from 1999 to 2001 and as a Financial Auditor at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services from 1996 to 1999.

Throughout their career, Jade has demonstrated their expertise in portfolio management, equity analysis, sustainability, and certification processes.

Jade Huang pursued their education starting in 1992 at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy and Business in 1996. Jade then went on to attend the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) from 2003 to 2005, where they completed their Master's Degree in International Relations and Affairs, with a focus on International Finance & Development.
