Jean Gauthier

Jean Gauthier CFA has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for both Fixed Income & Equities and Global Fixed Income at CIBC Asset Management since November 2017. Prior roles include Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income and Alternative Investments at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and V-P Senior Portfolio Manager at State Street Global Advisors. Jean has also held senior positions at Bank of Montreal and BMO Nesbitt Burns, as well as trading roles at Laurentian Bank of Canada. Jean earned a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal and has been recognized as a Chartered Financial Analyst by the CFA Institute.
