Lachlan Young

Lachlan Young began their career in 2016 working as a Developer at Fabric Corp, where they reverse-engineered online portals of several banks, using Node to scrape data such as transactions and bank details. Lachlan then progressed to SiteSee in 2017, where their tasks included Javascript and scraping with NodeJs, along with a C++ computation algorithm to calculate and generate reports. In 2018, they took roles as both a Software Developer and Junior Software Developer at otso. The same year, they worked as a Software Developer at Max Kelsen, where they consulted on numerous Point of Proofs (PoC) and interfaces for data serving in React. From 2019 until 2021, Lachlan worked as a Software Developer at Tanda: #1 Workforce Success Platform, until taking their current role as a Lachlan Codes Mentor at Lachlan Codes Australia in 2021. Lachlan is currently working as a Software Developer at Calyptia Inc.

Lachlan Young has an extensive educational background in game and interactive media design. Lachlan obtained their Certificate Of Education at Villanova College, Coorparoo from 2009 to 2014. Following that, they earned an Advanced Diploma of Interactive Digital Media and Game Design at TAFE Queensland between 2011 and 2014. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Game and Interactive Media Design at the University of Canberra from 2015 to 2017. Furthermore, Lachlan had achieved various certifications throughout their educational journey - Certificate IV in Interactive Digital Media, Diploma of Interactive Digital Media, Essentials Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation, Essentials Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Containers and Services, and Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure.
