Kelly Thrasher

Kelly Thrasher has over 30 years of work experience in various industries. Kelly currently works as a Knowledge Management Analyst, Lead at HII Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries. Prior to that, they were a Manager of Service Excellence at Accolade Inc., where they were responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Operations organization. Kelly also worked as a Short Term Contract Project Manager at Godiva Chocolatier, implementing projects for the Global Supply Chain. Earlier in their career, Kelly worked at Prudential Financial as a Project Manager, Implementation Lead SharePoint Online and as a Manager of Continuous Improvement, where they managed and implemented improvement projects resulting in significant savings. Kelly also served as a Colonel (Retired) in the United States Army Reserve for over 30 years and held various leadership positions. Kelly has a strong background in project management, continuous improvement, and knowledge management.

Kelly Thrasher attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering and Geography. Kelly also received a Certificate in Humantarian Assistance and Building a Better Response from Harvard University. In addition, Kelly earned a Certificate in Legal Considerations in Humanitarian Response from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Kelly further pursued a Certificate in Six Sigma Black Belt Studies from Villanova University.

Kelly Thrasher has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Fundamentals of Technology Security/Transfer (FTS/T) (ACQ 1300) from the Defense Acquisition University, Customer Service: Creating Customer Value from LinkedIn, COVID-19 Training for Health Workers: Preparedness and Response from Project HOPE, and Project Management: Healthcare Projects from LinkedIn. Kelly also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from RR Donnelley and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from RR Donnelley. Kelly has obtained further certifications such as 8D Problem Solving from Texas Instruments and a Certified Contracting Officer certification from the US Army. Kelly also holds certifications in Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from the US Army, Certified Project Manager from the United States Department of Defense, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, and Introduction to Unconscious Bias from Grovo.
