Tharindu Madushanka Peiris

Tharindu Madushanka Peiris has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Tharindu Madushanka began their career at Spot On Solutions in 2013, where they worked as a Software Developer until January 2014. In the same year, they joined bPotential (Pvt) Ltd as a Freelance Software Engineer from December 2014 to December 2015.

In 2014, Tharindu also started working at Lanka Software Foundation as a Trainee Software Engineer, where they contributed to the KARSHA project, which involved implementing algorithms for pattern recognition, data analysis, and visualizations. Tharindu Madushanka then advanced to the role of Software Engineer from March 2015 to March 2017, followed by the position of Senior Research Engineer from March 2017 to December 2019.

In 2020, Tharindu joined Cambio Software Engineering as a Senior Software Engineer from March to September, then transitioned to the role of Associate Technical Lead from September 2020 to August 2021. Tharindu Madushanka was later promoted to the position of Senior Technical Lead and served in that role from August 2021 to January 2023.

Their most recent work experience is at Cambio Group, where they currently hold the role of Senior Performance Engineer starting from September 2022. Additionally, Tharindu is set to take on the role of Lead Performance Engineer from March 2023 onwards.

Tharindu Madushanka Peiris pursued their education in a chronological order, with their most recent achievement being a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, Tharindu obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) in Computer Science from the same university from 2011 to 2015. Their earlier education was at Harischandra College, where they completed their G.C.E Advance Level studies in mathematics from 1996 to 2010.
