Ben Nordick

Ben Nordick is a skilled software engineer currently employed at Cambium Assessment since August 2022. Prior to this, Ben worked as a self-employed software developer from January 2016, creating an automated appointment reminder service and developing Windows applications for client intake and scheduling. Ben served as a graduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from August 2020 to May 2022, where algorithms and tools for analyzing gene regulatory networks were designed. Experience includes roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Ben was the CS 125 Head Course Assistant, overseeing infrastructure and a team for a large course, and the CS 125 Course Developer, designing auto-graded programming assignments. Ben holds a Master of Science degree in Genome Sciences/Genomics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an Associate of Science from Black Hawk College.
