Emily Piper currently serves as the Associate Manager of the Knowledge Base at Cambium Learning Group since September 2021, where responsibilities include managing proposal response libraries to enhance access to research-based technologies aimed at improving student achievement. Previously, in the role of Development Proposal Manager at Phalen Leadership Academies, Emily developed proposals for school management contracts to implement a personalized learning model for underserved communities. An experienced educator, Emily has also taught various science subjects at the high school level and holds a Master's degree in Food Systems from New York University, as well as dual Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additional experience includes positions in community-supported agriculture, outreach, and educational operations management.
