Andrea Mael is a Research Scientist at Cambium since April 2023 and has a strong academic and research background. Previously, Andrea held various roles at Case Western Reserve University from June 2017 to December 2022, including Graduate Research Assistant and student worker positions in the Study Abroad Office and Think[box] Prototyping Floor, where responsibilities included assisting in project design, prototyping, and maintenance of the facility. Andrea's experience also includes a brief stint as a Graduate Student at Los Alamos National Laboratory in August 2022, a Research Intern at the National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR) Bio-Inspired Materials in 2019, and a Biomaterials Research Intern at Zimmer Biomet in 2018. Andrea earned a Master’s degree in Macromolecular Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2022 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from the same institution in 2020, with additional studies at the National University of Singapore in 2018.
