Niels Godfredsen

Niels Godfredsen has extensive experience in software engineering and development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Cambly Inc. since April 2021. Previously, Niels held the position of Software Developer Lead at Carbon Lighthouse from May 2015 to November 2020, where significant contributions included establishing the software engineering discipline and mentoring a growing technology team. Niels has also served in various roles at Kink dot com, including Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, managing and scaling software teams while developing web-based products. Earlier experience includes founding SpeechForge.org, and holding technical leadership positions at Informatica Corporation, Zimba, Inc., and the University of California San Francisco, with a strong focus on quality assurance and FDA regulated software systems. Niels holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Math from Vassar College.
