Kayla Thomas

Kayla Thomas is an experienced scientist currently serving as a Sr. Scientist I at Cambrex since January 2019, having previously held positions as Associate Scientist II and Associate Scientist I. Prior to Cambrex, Kayla worked as an Associate Scientist at Avista Pharma Solutions and as a QC Chemist I at Bayer, where responsibilities included performing analytical and wet chemistry testing in compliance with cGMP practices and FDA regulations. Kayla's earlier experience includes serving as a Bioanalytical Chemistry Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on synthesizing silica particles for HPLC columns and mentoring students. Kayla holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with a 3.5 GPA.
