Sudhir Sornapudi

Sudhir Sornapudi, PhD, is an accomplished data scientist specializing in applied imaging and analytics, currently serving as Team Lead at Corteva Agriscience since May 2020. In this role, Sudhir leads a team of imaging data scientists to execute impactful R&D computer vision projects in collaboration with various biotechnology and crop protection sub-functions. Prior to this, Sudhir held positions as Imaging Data Scientist - II and Associate Imaging Data Scientist at Corteva, contributing significantly to projects related to insect bioassays and advanced imaging solutions. Sudhir's academic background includes a PhD and an MS in Computer Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, along with a B.Tech. in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Professional experience also encompasses internships at MilliporeSigma and the National Institutes of Health, as well as contributions as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
