Sophie Dunbar is a Senior Commissioning Editor for Science at Cambridge University Press & Assessment since March 2022, responsible for leading commissioning strategies to produce innovative print and digital resources for Science International Education. Prior to this role, Sophie worked as a freelancer from October 2014 to March 2022, engaging in commissioning and project management across various subjects including Business and Social Science. Sophie served as a Content Development Manager at LexisNexis UK from November 2013 to November 2018, where key contributions included content strategy implementation and eReader app development. At Pearson Education, from March 2010 to October 2013, Sophie led the development of Higher Education products for the Middle East and managed editorial workflows. Sophie's early career includes a role as Textbook Development Editor at Cambridge University Press from April 2008 to March 2010, focusing on Science and Technology projects. Sophie holds a Professional Diploma in Digital Learning Design from the Digital Learning Institute, an MSc in Human Evolution and Behaviour from UCL, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Reading.
