James Chiffons

James Chiffons currently serves as the Sr. Director of CyberSecurity at Cambridge Associates, leading a diverse CyberSecurity team focused on Incident Response, Security Engineering, Application Security, and Threat Intelligence. With over 20 years of experience, James has significantly developed and maturing the incident response team and program since joining the company in April 2020. Prior to this role, James held multiple senior positions, including Sr. Manager of Security Operations and Incident Response at NRECA, where James led the Security Operations Center. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Arcsight Architect at FDIC and Information Security Manager at FBR, where James managed various IT projects related to vulnerability assessment and compliance. James began as a Senior Database Engineer at HostMySite.com, managing SQL Server instances for client transactions. Academic qualifications include ethical hacking certifications from EC-Council and a degree in Nursing from the University of Delaware.
