Antony Locke

Antony Locke has a diverse work experience in various roles within the audio and technology industry. Antony is currently working as a Product Development Manager at Cambridge Audio since July 2021. Before that, they served as the Head of Product at Jamdoughnut from April 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Technology Exploration at Bowers & Wilkins from January 2019 to January 2020. Their previous experience includes working as a Staff Engineer at Cirrus Logic from August 2017 to December 2018. Before that, they held multiple roles at Apple, including Manager of Microphones from January 2017 to July 2017, and Lead Audio Engineer from October 2012 to December 2016. Antony also worked as a Principal Technologist (Acoustics) at Wolfson Microelectronics from January 2010 to September 2012. Antony began their career as an Audio Specialist at Nokia from November 2004 to January 2010, and prior to that, they worked in Customer Services at Agere Systems from June 2003 to November 2004. Antony also worked as a Senior Audio Engineer at Nokia from September 2000 to June 2003.

Antony Locke has an extensive education history. Antony obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Auditory Physics from UCL, attending from 1994 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Speech and Hearing Sciences, completing their studies at UCL from 1993 to 1994. Antony also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electroacoustics from The University of Salford, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Antony has also earned several certifications. Antony completed a course on Product Technology Roadmapping from the University of Cambridge Online in March 2022. In 2018, they acquired certifications in Sequence Models, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning, all from Coursera.
