Peter Finnie

Peter Finnie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and investment. Currently serving as a Partner at Potter Clarkson since January 2020, Peter Finnie specializes in helping businesses maximize the commercial returns from their innovations and intellectual property, particularly advising European start-up companies on developing effective IP strategies. In addition to this role, Peter Finnie is an Angel Investor with Cambridge Capital Group since October 2018. Prior to these positions, Peter Finnie worked as a European Patent Attorney at Gill Jennings & Every LLP from January 1991 to December 2019. Peter Finnie holds a degree from Durham University, attained between 1987 and 1990, and completed schooling at Bishop Wordsworth's Grammar School from 1983 to 1987.
