Sam Pumphrey

Sam Pumphrey has a strong background in consulting and engineering, with extensive experience working for Cambridge Consultants and PA Consulting Group. In 2018, they joined Cambridge Consultants as the Head of Digital Security. Prior to that, they worked at PA Consulting Group, where they held various roles including Managing Consultant and Principal Consultant from 2012 to 2018. Before joining PA Consulting Group, Sam worked at Cambridge Consultants in multiple roles including Senior Consultant, Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Engineer, between 2001 and 2012. Sam started their career as an intern at AT&T Research UK in 1998.

Sam Pumphrey attended Manchester Grammar School from 1990 to 1997. From 1997 to 2001, they studied Experimental and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge, earning an MA and MSci degree.
