Lynsey Harrell has extensive work experience in human resources and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Lynsey is currently the Chief People Officer at Cambridge & Counties Bank, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Human Resources Director at Centrica from May 2022 to May 2023. Lynsey also worked as the VP HR - EMEA at Moody's Corporation from May 2021 to April 2022. Before that, Lynsey worked at Banco Santander for many years, where they held the role of Head of Human Resources from January 2017 to February 2021. Lynsey also served as a Senior HR Manager and held strategic HR project lead and senior HR business partner roles within the company. Earlier in their career, they worked at Jungheinrich UK Ltd as an HR Manager/Head of HR from 2004 to 2006, and at Scottish & Newcastle Retail as an HR Manager from 1999 to 2004. Overall, Lynsey has a strong background in HR leadership and has extensive experience in managing strategic people plans and leading transformational projects.

Lynsey Harrell attended the University of Kent from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in Politics. In 1998 and 1999, they attended the University of Northampton and received a certificate in Personnel Practice with a focus on HR. In 2000, they pursued further education at MOL Learn and completed the CIPD program, equivalent to a level 7 degree. In 2003, they became a Fellow of CIPD. Additionally, in 2002, Lynsey obtained Level A & B qualifications in Psychometrics from SHL.
