Kiran Kamtekar

Kiran Kamtekar is a Senior Scientist at Cambridge Display Technology Limited, leading the technical development of new bioimaging applications utilizing proprietary Light-Emitting Polymer technology, focusing on product and intellectual property strategy development. Previously, Kiran established a team of chemists to create novel materials for printable SWIR organic photodetectors and contributed to enhancing the performance of Light-Emitting Polymer materials for Organic Light-Emitting Devices, managing multiple projects and creating valuable intellectual property. Additional experience includes a role as a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University, facilitating collaborations with Sumitomo Chemical, and serving as a Visiting Researcher at Durham University, leading material development in the TOPLESS OLED lighting project. Kiran holds a Ph.D. and M.Chem. in Chemistry from Durham University.
