Abigail Corsie

Abigail Corsie has a diverse work experience. Abigail started their career at Debenhams as a Merchandiser from September 2012 to September 2013. Abigail then worked as a Customer Service Representative at the Bon Accord Shopping Centre from September 2013 to July 2015. In 2015, they had a 12-month industrial placement as an R&D Scientist at Axis-Shield Diagnostics, where they developed and optimized an assay for a high-throughput immunoassay platform. From May to August 2017, they worked as a Verification Scientist at Axis-Shield Diagnostics. Abigail then pursued their Wellcome Trust PhD at the School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee from September 2017 to May 2022. During this time, they conducted research on ATP-dependent chromatin remodellers and organized events as a PhD representative and cycling club captain. Following their PhD, they joined Quotient Limited as a Senior R&D Scientist from April 2022 to January 2023, where they led and coordinated infectious disease assay development projects. Currently, Abigail is a Product Development Scientist at biomodal starting from February 2023.

Abigail Corsie's education history begins in 2012 when they enrolled at the University of Aberdeen. Abigail pursued a degree in MSci. Biochemistry (Biobusiness) with Industrial Placement, which they completed in 2017.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Abigail joined the University of Dundee in 2017 as a Wellcome Trust PhD student. The exact field of study for their PhD is not provided.
