Kenneth Haug

Kenneth Haug has extensive experience in the IT industry, with a focus on project management, software engineering, and team leadership. Kenneth is currently working as the DevOps and Software Engineering Team Leader at biomodal since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Wellcome Sanger Institute from 2020 to 2022, where they held the roles of Enabling Platforms Team Leader and IT Solutions Project Manager. From 2009 to 2020, Haug worked at EMBL-EBI, where they held various roles including Project Leader, MetaboLights Project Manager and Software Engineer, H2020 Project Manager, H2020 Work package leader, and Database Architect. Before joining EMBL-EBI, they worked as an Oracle Technology Consultant at Halian from 2003 to 2009. Haug also gained experience at Oracle Norge AS, Oracle Consulting from 1993 to 2002, where they held roles as Solutions Architect, Principal Consultant, Project Manager, and Consultant. Their early career includes working as an IT Specialist at Samvirke Vest from 1989 to 1993 and serving as an Infantry Soldier in the Norwegian Army from 1992 to 1993.

Kenneth Haug obtained a University College Graduate degree in Information Technology from The Norwegian School of Information Technology, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Scrum Master from The Knowledge Academy in November 2018, PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in November 2016. Kenneth also holds Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Associate, OCA and Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Professional, OCP certifications, although the institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
