Kara Keating Bench M.D.

Kara Keating Bench MD, MPH is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in primary care and population health management. Currently serving as the Senior Medical Director of Primary Care and Senior Medical Director of Population Health Management Outcomes at Cambridge Health Alliance since January 2021, Kara oversees the achievement of ambulatory population health goals. Previously, as Regional Medical Director, Kara successfully reopened onsite services at a comprehensive primary care health center. Experience also includes serving as Team Medical Director at Lynn Community Health Center, providing a full spectrum of pediatric and adult care, and roles at Lawrence General Hospital and Greater Lawrence Family Health Center. Educational credentials include an MD from UMass Chan Medical School and an MPH from Columbia University. Throughout a diverse career, Kara has demonstrated a commitment to improving health outcomes and clinical quality, alongside significant global health contributions in Haiti.
