Frederick Cheng

Frederick has over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, merger and acquisition and preclinical research. His areas of focus include oncology, ophthalmology, and cell and gene therapies.

Currently Frederick lives in Shanghai while serving as a biotech investment professional. Prior to that, he held multiple leadership positions in biotechs and biopharmas across Asia, including SanBio (Tokyo), CStone (Shanghai), Santen (Singapore) and HUTCHMED (Shanghai).

Frederick holds BSc and PhD in Biochemistry from the National University of Singapore, and MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School.
