Brian Roberts

Principal Examiner & Paper Setter (sociology Of The Family) at Cambridge International Education

Brian Roberts has extensive work experience in the field of education, particularly in the subject of sociology. Brian has worked as a Principal Examiner & Paper Setter for Cambridge Assessment International Education since 2016, where they are responsible for writing examination papers, setting marking standards, and managing teams of supervisors and examiners. Brian has also authored training materials for teachers and examiners.

In addition, Brian has worked as a Consultant Author for educational materials, creating a Scheme of Work for A Level Sociology and training materials for teachers and new examiners. Brian has also held roles as a Team Leader / Senior Examiner and Assistant Examiner at Cambridge International Examinations and OCR, ensuring standardization in marking and awarding of scores for scripts.

Brian also holds two Post Graduate Certificates: one in Education from the University of Wolverhampton (2005-2006) and another in Social Sciences from The Open University (2005-2006).
