Amin Said

Export Compliance Official / Senior Quality Manager at Cambridge International Systems, Inc.

Amin Said has extensive work experience in various roles and positions.

Starting in 1991, they worked in the USAF as a Navigator and Instructor Navigator for the B-52 G/H and E-3 AWACS aircraft. Amin also served as the Chief Navigator Training Flight for the E-3 AWACS and later became the Flight Deck Requirements Officer for the same aircraft.

In 2001, Amin joined the Air National Guard, where they held the positions of Chief Standardization and Evaluation Section for the 156th Operations Group, and later as the Wing Plans Officer for the 156th Airlift Wing.

In 2008, Amin became the Director of Operations for the 198th Airlift Squadron at the Air National Guard in Puerto Rico.

In 2010, they joined the USAF's Andean Ridge Branch as the Branch Chief until 2013.

In 2013, Amin worked as a Watch Officer at the AFSOUTH Air Operations Coordination Center, where they coordinated air operations with the Colombian military and various US agencies involved in counter-drug operations. Amin also served as an Air Operations Planner at ManTech, supervising the coordination of airlift assets and conducting security assessments of air bases in Colombia.

Since 2014, Amin has been working at Cambridge International Systems, Inc., starting as a Scan Eagle Project Manager and subsequently holding roles such as Operations Manager, Director of International Markets Business Unit, Director of Programs Federal/Civilian and Commercial Business Unit, and Director Federal/Civilian and Commercial Group. Amin is also currently working as an Export Compliance Official / Senior Quality Manager.

Amin Said obtained a Master's Degree in Computer and Information Systems from St. Mary's University, which they attended from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Amin Said obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2018.
