Matt West

Matt West has over 20 years of work experience starting from their time in the United States Marine Corps where they held various positions such as Enlisted Unit Leader, Operations Assistant of Information Systems, Director of Information Systems, and ultimately the Assistant Director of Information Technology. During their tenure, they managed IT and cybersecurity initiatives, reported to the CIO on security concerns and vulnerabilities, and oversaw IT procurement, development, and employment. In 2020, they joined ECS as a Project Manager for three years after which they became a Project Manager at Cambridge International Systems, Inc. beginning in 2023.

Matt West received their Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of South Carolina in 2008. In 2009, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification. In 2014, they received two certifications, namely, the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL), and ITIL Continual Service Improvement (ITIL-CSI), from PeopleCert. Matt then attended Marine Corps University in 2015 and received a degree in Expeditionary Warfare School with a field of study in Military Science and Leadership in 2016. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Certified SAFe 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
