Beth Kershner

Director Of Multilingual Learner Education at Cambridge Public Schools

Beth Kershner has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Beth started their career as an English Second Language Teacher at Malden Public Schools from September 2007 to June 2010. Then, they joined Boston Public Schools where they worked as a Gr 5 SEI Teacher & ESL Teacher Grades 2-5 from September 2010 to June 2013. Since October 2013, Beth has been working at Cambridge Public Schools, initially as a Lead Teacher & Instructional Coach for ELs and currently as the Director of Multilingual Learner Education.

Beth Kershner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from Bates College. Beth then went on to complete a Master of Education degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor at American University. Beth later pursued a CAGS Education Policy, Planning and Administration degree with a focus on Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Boston University.
