Chad Leith has a diverse work experience in education, starting in 1994 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Chad then joined the Boston Public Schools in 1996 as an English as a Second Language Teacher. Chad went on to work at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education as a Program Advisor/Mentor Teacher from 2003 to 2005. Chad then returned to the Boston Public Schools as a Language Acquisition Coach from 2005 to 2008. Chad also served as an ELL Director/T3 Coach and Bilingual Assessment Specialist from 2010 to 2012. Chad joined the Harvard University Graduate School of Education again in 2011 as an Adjunct Lecturer on Education until 2015. Chad then worked at Salem State University as an Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2015, and later as an Executive Vice President & Principal at the Horace Mann Laboratory School from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Chad is the Director of Professional Learning & Leadership at Cambridge Public Schools.

Chad Leith earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Culture, Communities & Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education between 2003 and 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at Harvard University. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor. Chad also holds certifications in Administration (Principal/Assistant Principal; PreK-6 & 5-8) and Teaching (English as a Second Language, 5-8) from the Massachusetts Department of Education.
