Julie Sizer

Julie Sizer has a diverse work experience in the education field. In 2011, they started their career as a 5th Grade Math Teacher and later became a Learning Team Leader at Teach for America. Julie also worked as a Manager of Talent Programs at UP Education Network. In 2015, they interned as a Prevention Science and Practice Intern at Gardner Pilot Academy. Julie then took on roles at various organizations, including the Rennie Center for Education Research and Policy as an Education Policy Fellow, Lynch Leadership Academy as a Principal Fellow, and Codman Academy Charter Public School as an Assistant Principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Their most recent role was as Principal at Cambridge Public Schools starting in 2023. Throughout their career, they have shown a dedication to education and leadership.

Julie Sizer completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology-based Human Relations at Connecticut College from 2007 to 2011. Julie then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Prevention Science and Practice at Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2015 and 2016. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they also had an unspecified period of education at Simsbury High School.
