Leslie Jiménez

Leslie Jiménez is an experienced education leader currently serving as the Director of Equity for Cambridge Public Schools since June 2020. In addition to this role, Leslie is engaged as a member of the Next Gen Leadership Team at Harvard University, a program aimed at supporting first-generation college students. With a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and integration, Leslie has also held positions such as RIDES Leadership Fellow and Doctoral Candidate at Harvard Graduate School of Education, contributing to various committees and initiatives focused on equitable campus environments. Previous roles include Deputy Director/Director for the Office of Charter Schools with Oakland Unified School District, Assistant Principal at Rocketship Los Sueños, and instructional positions at Opportunities For Learning and Green Dot Public Schools. Leslie holds a Master's degree in Urban Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor's degree in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University.
