Victoria Greer

Superintendent at Cambridge Public Schools

Victoria Greer is the current Superintendent of Cambridge Public Schools. Victoria has held this position since June 2017. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Superintendent of Cambridge Public Schools from June 2013 to June 2017. Before that, they were the Director of Exceptional Education for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools from July 2009 to June 2013. In this role, they were responsible for curriculum development and selection for students with disabilities as well as gifted. Victoria developed and delivered professional development to teachers and administrators on instructional practices and inclusive educational practices. Victoria collaborated with other departments and curriculum areas to ensure that students educational needs are met. Victoria was also responsible for the district initiatives related to gifted education and inclusive education. Greer began their career in education as a Special Education Coordinator for Metro-Nashville Public Schools from September 2007 to June 2009.

Victoria Greer earned their undergraduate degree in psychology from Tennessee State University. Victoria then went on to earn their Master of Education in special education and teaching from the same institution. Next, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in educational leadership and administration, general, from Capella University. Finally, they participated in the National Superintendents Academy.
